OUR STORY

Extended Family Outreach Ministry Inc (EFOM) is a 501 c(3) nonprofit Christian organization.

Started in 2014 as a Holiday Outreach to those who had no family or were separated from family by distance or estrangement, we became an "adopted" family to Believers in need during holidays, special occasions, illness, and in times of grief.

Today, as well as holiday outreaches, we have community, global and ministry outreaches. We offer small group bible studies, sponsor fellowship conferences, and provide various services to our communities and churches.

Our most recent community outreach program , KID CARE PB & J KIDS POP-UP MOBILES caters to varying needs of children in our schools and communities who are either from low-income families, are residing in safe-houses, are unhoused, or in foster care. Also coming soon is KID CARE CAMP RESPITE; a Christian Day Camp for children with Special Needs.

We stand by the biblical principles :

- No Christian has ever been called to go it alone in his or her walk of faith

- As a Christian, when we see a need, each of us is called to respond. We are called to take action that demonstrates the love of God for one another

and for others. By doing so, we let His light shine through us as we minister to the physical and spiritual needs of All people.

We are All on "A Grace Journey".... Brothers and Sisters in Christ, reaching out, "Doing Life Together".

Every event, our regular volunteers take the lead as we build and mobilize our teams of part-time volunteers who have chosen to come alongside to make a difference.

OUR MISSION

To render community support that ministers to the physical, the mental well-being and the spiritual needs of All people.

To be a source of encouragement and spiritual enrichment that refuels, reenergizes and uplifts the Body of Christ (our Christian brothers and sisters) out in the fields tirelessly sharing the Gospel with All, making disciples.

Events are meant to empower, to unify, and to strengthen the resolve/commitment to continue the work Jesus has called us, His church, to do.

To support the works of the Body of Christ in the field by coming alongside to render hands-on support, helping them in tangible ways to share the love of God with others that they might see Him through us, in us.
