Building Bridges is a TUSD Student Services project that was developed to streamline available resources in the district & community to benefit our students. Building Bridges hosts monthly collaborative meetings between district and community staff to share the most effective means to meet the needs of TUSD students & families, whether the need be homelessness, foster care, mental health, or hardships. Together we work to make Torrance a stronger, healthier and happier community.
Parents and staff can refer students for counseling services or inquire about any other resources in the community, i.e. Academic, Basic Needs, Childcare, Healthcare, Internet, Parenting, Military Families, Wellness-Social Emotional-Counseling Resources. We are here to help and connect you with district or community resources that can help in your specific situation.
If you would like more information, would like assistance or want to join us for our next Building Bridges Collaborative RSVP to buildingbridges@tusd.org.
