DAUGHTERS Of THE KING WOMEN'S FELLOWSHIP & STUDY

 "DAUGHTERS OF THE KING (DOTK)" is where your love for reading connects with your love for Christ, the joy of community service and the rewards of building loving-sisterhood. 

STUDY encourages readers to dive into faith-based books, exploring the scriptures as we examine how these readings enhance our understanding of God's word and its relevance to our lives today as God's daughters. Through discussions, related video shorts, shared insights and experiences, we grow and strengthen our faith.

FELLOWSHIPS

• Sisterhood: Pre-planned sisterhood-building activities that promote unity, bonding and growing in love for one another as commanded by Christ. 

John 13:34, “A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another”. 

Growing in love for one another…; loving like Jesus is a high calling. It is the defining characteristic that will allow the people in the communities we serve to recognize us as true disciples of Christ. The way we love one another demonstrates who we are.

John 13:35 “By this all people will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another”.  

Activities to build strong interpersonal connections include brunch, nature walks, painting in the park or beach, holiday craft days, weekend retreats, wellness weekends, birthday celebrations, and attending community theatre together.

• Community: Activities that address specific service and tangible needs within our churches and communities and may include participating in the Extended Family Community Outreach, “KID CARE” programs i.e., PB&J Pop-up Mobiles addressing the needs of at-risk children who are unhoused, in safe houses, or in foster care. 

        There are also visits to hospitals, Assisted Living and Senior-Care

        facilities; engaging in conversations, crafts, prayer, worship and 

        sharing the gospel.  

        Individually and as a group, we serve within our churches

        wherever help is needed.

Matthew 25:40 - "And the King will say, "I tell you the truth, when you did it to one of the least of these my brothers and sisters, you were doing it to Me!"

The first and fourth Saturdays of each month.

• 1st Saturdays are Study
• 4th Saturdays are Fellowship Activities

• Movie Matinee, "Unsung Hero" - Through the best and worst of times, the Mother ensures that the centerpiece of her family is always their faith in Christ.  Based upon the true story of the unsung hero mother of the worship group known today as "For King + Country.
