"A Grace Journey" 2-Day Christian Fellowship Conference, September 16 - 17, 2022 stressed the post-pandemic need for The Body of Christ to "come back together in Unity, and like Nehemiah, to Stay Up On The Wall to Rebuild. Jonathan Evans, the son of Dr. Tony Evans, was keynote speaker & Babbie Mason led Afterglow.

Expressions of “you are loved” were distributed to attendees at the Hope On The Street Ministry’s Alondra Park outreach for the homeless. Attendees heard the gospel John 3:16 explained in detail, were led in worship by the event volunteer worship leader, ate a great meal, and as needed, chose from the many articles of clothing and toiletries that were made available.
In support of Hope On The Street, Extended Family Outreach distributed 1 Corinthians 13:4 LOVE Cards; those with chocolate roses for the ladies and those with red gummy hearts for the men and children.
Setup along the shores of Redondo Beach, singing Easter songs, carrying our “message of Hope-In-Christ” baskets, Extended Family Outreach Ministry handed out "Rejoice! He Is Risen!" Easter cards to passer-byers. Attached to each card was a candy mint tin personalized with the Gospel Summary.
Later, these same expressions of “Hope” were given to attendees at the Hope On The Street Ministry’s parking lot Easter Outreach for the homeless. The gospel was heard, Christ was celebrated through worship, the food was abundant, and other necessities were made available.
The 2021 Christmas Program & Dinner-Concert was held in Torrance CA. The theme was “Love Is The More Excellent Way”, with a narrated PowerPoint presentation from Luke :1-20.
The blessing over the catered dinner was sung by the women from the House of Blessing (HOB) transitional home. All in attendance were blessed the season’s traditional faith-based songs sung by pastor and recording artist Kevin Click.
A full dinner-concert was given by Grammy nominee Babbie Mason and her son, Chaz Mason. Guests were gifted a special ornament with gold foiled words, “This is Love”, over the manger, as well as written lyrics for theme song “Love Is The More Excellent Way”, written & sung by
Babbie Mason.
Even though the Covid lockdown disallowed visitation, Extended Family Outreach Ministry was blessed to be able to deliver a shrink-wrapped Christmas basket to Lomita Care nursing and rehabilitation center. Each of the 60 plus residents received a special Christmas Card with an attached candy cane. Within the card was a personalized message that let residents know that even during these difficult times they are loved and not forgotten.
As a reminder that Christmas is all about the love of God who gifted His Son to the world, Love Boxes were distributed at Open Doors Ministry, caring for the homeless. These Love Boxes contained the nativity scene, scripture John 3:16, and a gift for a cup of hot chocolate or coffee on a cold night to say we see you and we care about you.
This bible study concentrated on remembering that God's Promises are always for you..., The Believer.
Even when you are in the thick of things and it's very difficult to see God in your situation, His promises are still there for you. This three-week study will remind you that it doesn't matter what it looks like, God's Promises are always Yes and Amen. God is always working on the behalf of the Believer. Several promises were discussed. Participants were encouraged to choose 4 - 6 promises that spoke into their life, their current situation(s). Then write these promises down and learn to pray standing on God's promises to You.
It was “A Very Special Christmas” Story & Celebration followed by a catered barbeque luncheon on the outside patio. The Christmas Story was presented from the point of view of an eye-witness shepherd boy whose path, as he grew into a man, crossed that of Jesus’ on multiple life changing occasions. The dramatic one-man show, “The Shepherd Of Bethlehem” was performed by it’s creator, Bill Welch, Senior Pastor Refuge Calvary Chapel, Huntington Beach, CA.
An 8-week 2-part workshop on Prayer. The Prayer Workshop Part 2 focus was on Priscilla Shirer’s 6-week video and workbook series “The Armour Of God.” Part 2 stressed the importance of ecognizing the INTEL the enemy has been busy collecting on you for years and examining and understanding how to use each piece of armour against him. Emphasis was on understanding the significance of each piece of armour, how to use it, and how to suit up with each piece every day....., And then, Stand & Pray. As follow-thru, attendees also received the In Touch Ministries' "The Armour Of God " 7 Days Challenge by Dr. Charles Stanley and an accompanying armour visualization booklet.
This six-weeks co-ed bible study was a deep dive into the sayings of Jesus. The examination and understanding of the lessons taught via 30 Parables was led
by Pastor G. Harvey. Through reflection and application, much insight and wisdom were gained. Life lessons were learned, consequences understood, and
a roadmap for moving forward was forged.
